Appealing to lovers of bold 80s fashion, CEO Willem’s 30th was a night to be remembered at the Double Denim Disco Dance-Off. Jeans, jackets, vests, and velcro contributed to a rich sea of blue dancers who were the opposite of blue in mood while rocking out to the vibrant musical talent. Rose Tattoo frontman Angry Anderson was the hard-rocking headline act of the night, backed by The Mountain Men, a handpicked bunch of local musicians.
Filling out the bill were the sly funkers from Sex On Toast, the edgy garage punks from the Drain Babies, solo artist Andy Golledge, and DJ sets from Lonely Mountain and Echo Point Sound System. Prizes were awarded to those who were best-dressed for the denim fest.
