Delivering one heck of an entertainment Bill for their hometown of Katoomba, Retro Rehash organised Beached as Boogie Down as a beach-themed new year’s celebration to ring in 2019! Topping the bill was a group Built around Michael Smith from the atlantics, Australia’s most popular surf-rock Guitar band Best known for their hit tune ‘bombora’ That topped the charts in 1963. Michael smith’s group performed tunes such as ‘Bombora’, alongside a handful of popular covers and other toe-tapping hand-clappers. The event also hosted the funkadelic talents of hibiscus biscuit alongside The confronting, hypnotic female punk of inlarm, the retro Hard rock of k.t.b Project And the feel good folk of the Tally ho and the 10-to-go’s.
The event also hosted a secret jam session and costumes were encouraged.
