1. Overview
The Retro Rehash Directory (“the Directory”) is a project by Retro Rehash (“we”, “our”, or “us”) to document, celebrate, and support artists and bands connected to the Blue Mountains region.
By submitting content or accessing the Directory on retrorehash.com.au (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Submissions
Anyone may submit information about a Blue Mountains artist or band using the provided online forms. By submitting content (“Submission”), you confirm that:
- You have the right to share and publish the information, text, and images you provide.
- The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You consent to Retro Rehash editing, formatting, and publishing your Submission (in whole or in part) at our discretion.
- You grant Retro Rehash a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display the submitted content for the purpose of maintaining and promoting the Directory.
Submissions are subject to moderation and may be edited, declined, or removed without notice if they are incomplete, inappropriate, or unverifiable.
3. Artist Profiles
Profiles in the Directory are divided into two categories:
- Current Artists/Bands — active and promotable artists.
- Past Artists/Bands — inactive or historical artists, documented for archival purposes.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate, but Retro Rehash does not guarantee completeness or correctness. Artist information is for community and historical reference only.
4. Use of Content
You may browse, share, and link to artist profiles for personal, cultural, or educational use. However:
- You may not republish or redistribute content for commercial purposes without written permission.
- You must credit Retro Rehash and the contributing artist when referencing material from the Directory.
5. We Are Coral Integration
For Current Artists, we may include a “Support this Artist on Coral” button or embed, connecting users to the artist’s page on wearecoral.org (“Coral”).
Retro Rehash does not process any payments or handle Coral data directly.
Interactions with Coral are governed by Coral’s own Terms & Privacy Policy.
6. Images and Media
By uploading images or media, you confirm that:
- You hold copyright or have permission from the copyright holder.
- You allow Retro Rehash to display the content publicly on the Site and in related promotions (social media, newsletters, features, etc.). If you believe any image or content has been used without consent, please contact us at hello@retrorehash.com.au for removal.
7. Moderation and Removal
We reserve the right to:
- Remove or update any profile or Submission at any time.
- Decline Submissions that do not align with the purpose or standards of the Directory.
- Modify categories (e.g., Current vs Past) if circumstances change or information becomes outdated.
8. Liability
Retro Rehash and its collaborators are not responsible for:
- Errors, omissions, or outdated information within the Directory.
- External links, embeds, or third-party integrations (including Coral).
- Any damages resulting from reliance on information provided in the Directory.
9. Privacy
We collect and store Submission data for moderation and publication purposes.
Personal information (e.g., your name, email) will not be shared publicly unless included as part of the artist profile.
10. Updates to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect improvements or changes in the project. Continued use of the Directory signifies acceptance of any revised Terms.
